Binding

Time:   Best done a Saturday during a warning moon.

Items Needed: One black candle; one foot of black thread; patchouli or Binding oil; Protection powder; Binding incense.

Instructions:   Never do magic to control another person, unless that person is attempting to harm you and yours. Before doing a binding spell, however, you must be certain that your actions are not contributing to the problem. If you are part of the problem, you will bind yourself as well as the offending person.

Oil the black candle, and place it on your altar. Sprinkle protection powder in each corner of every room of your house.

Also, sprinkle it on the altar in a double-circle around the black candle. Tie seven knots in the black thread as you chant the verse.

Begin at one end of the thread, and end at the other. Place the thread near the candle. Leave the candle to burn completely out. If there is any wax left, bury it and the black knotted thread.

You can dispose of the wax in the garbage can, but never leave it inside your house when the spell is finished. The thread can be burned.

Chant:   What I bind stays bound.

What goes out comes back around.

Black to black, white to white,

My words have power on this night.
